Karen Dominguez-Brann is passionate about Home and Garden Design, She started her firm in 1987, in Los Angeles. She has spent the last 6 years living Maine and exploring the different lifestyle that the Four Seasons can bring to our dwellings. She also has been photographing and writing about homes, gardens, lifestyle and nature. KDB is now back in the world of Home/Lifestyle Design full time, and has honed her skills as an expert in Style, and Eco-friendly Home and Garden Design. She has worked with Family Residences, Vacation Homes and Corporate Facility design. Karen integrates the home and garden, blending the inside and the outside into one cohesive package. She believes that a client should truly understand the land in which they are inhabiting and the relationship between the rooms of a home and the gardens that surround them.

Karen is inspired by historic European design, William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century. She embraces the landscape philosophy of native plantings, romantic, mysterious and organic gardens. She believes that everyone should live with the objects that not only are functional but also beautiful.
